Eminem diskografie
Eminem, vlastním jménem Marshall Bruce Mathers III se narodil 17.10.1972 (Váhy) v St.Joseph (blízko Kansas City). Dětství neměl příliš šťastné. Žil sám s mámou a mladším bratrem, tátu nikdy neviděl. Mámě se narodil v 17-ti letech, byla závislá na drogách a živila se jako prostitutka. Vyrůstal u svého strýčka Ronalda, ten zemřel na předávkování heroinem. Potom se celé dětství s matkou neustále stěhoval, měnil školy, a tak neměl žádné kamarády. Marshall byl vyvržencem, který nikdy nepoznal pocit být někým milován. Zranitelný chlapec bez přátel, kterému se spolužáci vysmívali. ,,Matka mě s sebou tahala jako pytel mouky. Byl jsem pro ní jenom obtížné břemeno, kterého se nikdy nezbaví. Byl jsem bastardem, kterého bylo možno týrat, protože neměl žádné přátele. Holkám jsem se nelíbil. Žádná mě nechtěla". V jeho 12-ti letech se přestěhovali do Detroitu, ale ani zde nenašel žádné přátele, dělalo mu problémy studovat, a ještě těžší bylo vyvarovat se problémů. V 17-ti letech objevil rap, ten se stal řešením jeho potíží, východiskem z drsného života plného špatně placených náročných prací, drog a citové vyprahlosti.,,Rapování pro mě bylo duševním a sociálním bojem o přežití. Mám v sobě divoký vztek a ten ze sebe zvracím ve svých rýmech."
